<p>Anthony J. “Tony” Buberle</p><p><br></p><p>Age 73, of Morris, IL passed from this life Sunday morning, March 26, 2023, at his residence. He was born on January 26, 1950, to the late Karine (Olson) and Emil Buberle.</p><p><br></p><p>After high school, Tony served in the U.S. Army.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving is his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Buberle; son, Tim (Amanda) Buberle; grandchildren, Alexis (Alex) Kuehni; Hunter and Lily Buberle; Tristen and Skylar Wicks; great-grandchildren, Evelyn and George Kuehni. He is also survived by his siblings and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>Tony is preceded in death by his parents and his canine companions, Abbey and Shadow.</p><p><br></p><p>Tony retired from Stone Container after several years of dedicated service. Prior to working there, he was the manager of the former Norman Oil Co and various area gas stations. When he was younger, he was an avid fisherman.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, March 31, 2023, from 2 p.m. until a prayer service and remembrances begin at 4 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Rt. 6 (at Deerpath Dr.) in Morris.
