<p>LINNEUS, Richard A. Stevens, 81, died March 25, 2023 in Houlton. He was born on January 1, 1942 in Danvers, MA., the son of Dana and Beryl (McLaughlin) Stevens.</p><p><br></p><p>Richard served on the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and hunting.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan (Coburn) Stevens, two children Tracy (Robert) Kervin, and Craig Stevens, all of Linneus, three grandchildren, Dawne Suree, Chelsea Grace, and Andrew James, two great grandchildren, Arya and Finnley, siblings, Darla (Richard) Ellery of Peabody, MA., Kevin (Heidi) Stevens of Lincoln, Lisa Stevens of Allston, MA., three nieces and many cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to the nurses and doctors at Houlton Regional Hospital and Madigan Estates for the care of Richard. </p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
