Thomas Vincent Mrakitsch, 82, of Brooklyn, Michigan, passed away on March 23, 2023, at Toni & Trish Hospice House. He was born September 1, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Vincent and Victoria Mrakitsch. He married Pamela Dobrick and had two children, Marie and Steven. Thomas graduated from Lincoln Park High School and went to work at General Motors as a tool and die maker, the majority at the Hydra-Matic plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan. After he retired, he moved to Brooklyn, Michigan to enjoy living on Wolf Lake. Thomas enjoyed being in the outdoors, where he fished and hunted. He was involved with activities with his church and also enjoyed playing cards with friends at the Senior Center.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie, and his parents. He is survived by siblings, Richard (Cora Ann, children Diane, and David) and Valerie (Mark, children Matthew, Jenny, and Michael), son, Steven (Cheryl), and grandchildren Jacklyn and Adam.

Friends are invited to the Celebration of Life to be held at Lutheran Church of the Lakes, 8800 US-223, Addison, MI 49220 on Monday, April 24 at 12:00 pm with family time beginning at 11:00 am.
