<p>Elvenna Crews Campbell was born April 23, 1939 to Odie and Stephen Crews. She departed this life March 25, 2023.</p><p>Ms. Campbell received her education from Berry O’Kelly School in Raleigh, NC.</p><p>Elvenna began working for the Lane Family as custodian and caretaker. Later, she transitioned to Rex Hospital and NC Museum of Art. Ms. Campbell retired in 2002.</p><p>Elvenna’s hobbies included gardening, baking, and cooking, church activities, spending time with family and traveling.</p><p>Elvenna loved to pay her grandkids one dollar for in home pedicures and scratching her scalp. Also, she loved watching WWE Wrestling. Elvenna's favorite snacks were Snickers, Lance Peanut Bar, and Nutta Butters, along with a Pepsi.</p><p>During Christmas, you could count one of her favorite songs playing throughout the house, “Please come home for Christmas.”</p><p>Elvenna was preceded in death by her eldest son Lionel Dennis, and son Vernon Morgan.</p><p>Elvenna leaves to cherish eight beautiful children, four sons and four daughters, Phyllis Jean, Shelia Diann, Robert Lewis, Vanessa Lynn, Frankie Lynnwood Campbell, Clarence, Jr., Walter, and Linda Hocutt all who currently still reside North Carolina and New Hampshire; nine grandchildren including her eldest Tremaine, Alonzo Roberts, Jr., Lettice, Danny, Genesis, Frankie Jr., Christopher, Tekenna, and Alissa Campbell; and a host of great-grand-children, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.</p><p><br><br></p><p></p>

Elvenna Crews Campbell was born April 23, 1939 to Odie and Stephen Crews. She departed this life March 25, 2023.

Ms. Campbell received her education from Berry O’Kelly School in Raleigh, NC.
