Jacquita Ann Carney, 82 of Borger passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Borger. Cremation is under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Memorial Service will 2:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses .

Jacquita was born March 4, 1941 in Bennington, Oklahoma to Roy A and Maudie A ( Taylor ) Caton. She was a dietician at North Plains Hospital and Bivins Nursing Home. Member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved crocheting and collecting butterflies. She was baptized Jehovah’s Witnesses on May 4, 1963.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Dickey Johnson; sister, Jean Tolley; brother Jim Caton and a grandson, Andrew Wilt.

Surviving are her sons, Dennis Comer and wife Lisa, Darin Comer and wife Reina, Dustin Comer and wife Jessica all of Borger; daughter Lisa Paulson of Borger; brothers, Charles King of Borger and John Caton of Dallas; grandchildren, Micah Johnson,  Cory Johnson, Jason Wright, Ashley Marquez, Caleb Comer, Shay Wilt, Candace Comer, Tasia Bos, Damaris Washington, Aurora Garcia-Comer, Jacinda Garcia-Comer, Zerrious Bryant, Zedekiah Bryant, Alexis Alders and Levi Comer; great grandchildren, Micalyn Johnson, Liliana Johnson, Van Johnson, Tyler Wright, Alissa Marquez, Caden Marquez, Lydia Wilt and Olivia Wilt; great great grandchildren, Scarlett Wright and Oliver Wright.
