DOUGLAS J. CONROY

Douglas “Doug” Conroy, age 50 of Elrama, Washington County, Pennsylvania, died suddenly on Saturday, March 25, 2023.  He was born on December 16, 1972, one of three sons of Michael Coleman Conroy and Audrey Jean (Furnival) Conroy, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.  The family was raised in Munhall, Pennsylvania and Doug graduated from Steel Valley High School in 1991.

Doug was an Electrician with IBEW Union Local # 5.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jennifer L. (Stout) Conroy; three sons, Cody (Brooke) Conroy of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, Jake and Owen Conroy both at home; two brothers, Michael (Tammy) Conroy and Ryan (Jill) Conroy; his parents, Michael and Audrey; his mother-in-law, Linda (the late Chuck) Stout.  Doug is the grandson of the late James and Ruth Furnival.

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 5 – 8 PM and on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 1 – 4 PM.  Doug’s Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation on Wednesday at 4 PM.

Doug was a great supporter for the sport of wrestling in which his two youngest sons are very active.
