<p>Matilda E. Caparco, 104, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home. She was the wife of the late Michael A. Caparco,Sr.</p><p>Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Annamarie (Mangiante) Iannuzzi. Mrs. Caparco and her husband were the owners and operators of the former Creative Crafts. She was a faithful and religious person and she always found great comfort in her faith. She will always be remembered as a compassionate and thoughtful person.</p><p> She leaves two sons, Michael A. Caparco, Jr and his wife Elaine and Henry T. "Cap" Caparco, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Thomas A. Caparco and Joanne M. Caparco, mother-in-law of the late Hope M. Caparco and sister of the late Frances Dolce, Grace Caligiuri and Dominic Iannuzzi.</p><p> Her funeral and visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 8:30 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be appreciated.</p>Obituary
