<p>New Limerick and Linneus - Rodney P. Longstaff, 66, passed away Tuesday March 21, 2023 at home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by family. He was born July 5, 1956, in Houlton, the son of Clair and Jeannette "Faulkner" Longstaff. Rod was a graduate of Houlton High School class of 1974. Rod married Peggy Bither July 26, 1997. He enjoyed his time at Drew's Lake, boating and camping at Bluegrass Festivals. He was a member of the Houlton Lodge of Elks. Rod is survived by his wife, Peggy, his brother David and wife Mary of Norway and several brother and sister in laws. At Rod's request there will be no services.
