Her memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, Il Rev. Kathy Mitchell will be officiating. Inurnment will be at Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers, IL.Visitation will be 10:00 AM-11:00 AM Saturday December, 17, 2016 at the church. The family suggests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, IL. Cremation services provided by Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Marge was born December 29, 1924 in Wenona, IL the daughter of Harry and Helen Smith Shipley. She married Donald Gilbert on July 19, 1944 in Lisbon, ND. He survives at the McLean County Nursing Home, Normal IL. Also surviving, 2 daughters, Susan Gilman, Mansfield IL, Nancy Walker, Normal IL,8 grandchildren, Stacey Houston, Danvers, IL, Gretchen Arbogast, Bloomington, IL, Jennifer (David) Perry, LeRoy, IL, Thad (Tara) Gilman, Mansfield, IL, Matt (Gia) Walker, Schaumburg, IL, Molly (Matt) Hilt, Carlock, IL, Allyson Tyner, Congerville, IL, Elizabeth Maxwell, Congerville, IL, 22 great-grandchildren,1 sister, Alice Johnson, Bloomington, IL. Marge is preceded in death by her parents,1 daughter, Pamela Arbogast and 1 brother, Kenneth Shipley Marge worked at Mennonite Hospital for over 27 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Danvers, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.
