Weldon Elliott Fogle, 87 of Carlock died at 6:20 AM on Thursday January 7, 2016 at his residence. There will be a private family service and a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Wintz Cemetery in Carlock. Otto-Argo-Calvert Funeral Home in Carlock is handling arrangements. Weldon was born on October 16, 1928 in Carlock to George and Edna Woosley Fogle. He married Eloise LaVern Strawn on March 31, 1951 in Bloomington. She preceded him in death on July 17, 1985. He later married Pat Garrett on February 25, 1989. She preceded him in death December 15, 2007. He is also preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Weldon is survived by his children, Merrill Vick, Alice(Jerry) Robinson, Jerry (Mona) Fogle, Mary Kay Kappes, John (Pam Hill) Fogle, Lou (Tim) Daniel, Jim Fogle, Nancy (Kevin) Bohannon, and Andy Fogle as well as his step-children Mike (Marilyn) Garrett, Linda (Jim) Kearney, and Brenda (Dennis Comtois) Tarver, fifteen grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and fifteen step great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Andy Fogle special needs trust c/o Heartland Bank.
