<p>JOSEY, Philip Ralph of Halifax, Age 70, left this world peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. </p><p><br></p><p>Father to three children, whom he cherished from birth: daughter Alanah (Richard) and sons Connor and Matt. </p><p><br></p><p>Phil was a son of Ernest and Willa (Gerrard) Josey. Brother to Clarence (Edie), Betty, Beverley, and Ron (June). Uncle to nieces and nephews of sister Betty, sister Bev, and brother Ron. Phil was blessed with a large circle of devoted friends whom his children and siblings hold dear. </p><p><br></p><p>Phil was a retired Probation Officer for the Province of Nova Scotia. He spent the last of his retired years antique picking. Phil was an avid animal lover, particularly fond of dogs and horses, such as his four-hooved grandson, Marcus. Phil had a deep passion for music and the sport of football. He had a great sense of humour, and his laughter was contagious. Phil was a skilled motorcyclist, who sought out the turns and always chose the path less travelled. Phil lived life to the fullest. When the weather gets warmer, we will get together with family and friends to celebrate his life. </p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, VG Site, QEII. </p><p><br></p><p>Memories are like threads of gold, they never tarnish or grow old. Just as you are you will always be, Loved and cherished by your family.</p><p><br></p>
