Greta Blanche Turnbull
<p>Greta Blanche Turnbull, age 87 of Digby/ Yarmouth passed away peacefully on March 16,2023 at Treasured Memories in Yarmouth. Born April 10,1935 in Centreville, Digby Co., she was a daughter to the late Guy and Mary (Graham) Outhouse. Greta was a nurse on OBS/ maternity at the Digby Regional Hospital for many years, she was well known for her nursing from 1969-2000. She trained at Children’s Hospital in Halifax. She is survived by her children, Paul (Ingrid), Gold Coast, Australia; James (Lynn) , Yarmouth; Peter, Vancouver; Nancy, Digby; brothers, Alton Outhouse ( Susan); sister, Dorothy (Lauriston) Tidd; grandchildren, Christie and Matthew Turnbull, Gold Coast Australia; Samantha, Digby; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Greta was predeceased by her husband, James Arnold; step mother, Bernice Morehouse. </p><p>“The doors at the Casino Royal were always open “</p><p> There will be no funeral service as per Greta’s request ,interment will take place at a later date in Centreville, Digby ,Co. at Union Burial Ground with her parents. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Yarmouth Renal Dialysis Unit.
