<p>Andria Brett Rowser, 62, passed away Monday, March 20,&nbsp;2023 in Orange Park, FL, after a 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a twin, born on June 9, 1960 in Birmingham, AL, to the late Brett and Minnie Rowser. Andria grew up in Union Baptist Church where he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He attended Birmingham City Schools and graduated from West End High School. </p><p>Andria left Birmingham to begin his higher educational journey at,&nbsp;then, Tuskegee Institute for a year before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 1982. While serving, he continued his education, attending Park University&nbsp;part-time&nbsp;and earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminology. In 1996, he was recommended and selected for Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA, where he graduated in 1997 and commenced his career, advancing to Chief Warrant Officer 3. Andria never stopped his pursuit of higher learning and enrolled in Webster University to earn a master’s degree in Human Resources Management. He retired from the Marine Corps in 2004, after 22 years of service. In November 2004, he joined the Florida Department of Corrections as a Correctional Probation Officer.&nbsp; He was promoted to a Senior Officer and worked there until his untimely death. </p><p>Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Valynda; children, Lasara Washington, Andria (Jeanette) Rowser, Jr. and Jasmine Rowser; bonus children, Valesha (Mark) Mahan and Keith Adams; grandchildren, Destiny Commodore, Timia Commodore, Ahmari Mahan, Andria Rowser, III, Kendrick Berry, Essence Rowser, Mariah Mahan, Ariel Rowser; one great-grandchild, Kayden; brothers, Mandria (Charita) Rowser, Jimmie (Frances) Rowser, Henry Rowser, Conrad Rowser; sisters, Gwendolyn Stanton, Diane (Michael) Johnson, Brenetta Rowser, Vallery Rowser, Tewanda Rowser, Sandra Rowser, and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. </p><p>A visitation will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burrney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. also at Aaron and Burney Bivesn Funeral Home and Interment with Military Honors will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32118. </p>
