Deana Lynn Kefover, 64, of Weston, went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 18, 2023. She passed in the comfort of her home and under the compassionate care of WVU Medicine Hospice.

Deana was born in Elyria, OH, on May 25, 1958, a daughter of the late Larry Hunter Gregory and Carol Ann Dunbar. In addition to her parents, she was greeted in Heaven by her loving K-9 companion, Grunt.

On August 25, 1984, Deana married Bruce Allen Kefover and together they shared the last thirty-eight years raising their children. He will miss her dearly.

Forever cherishing their memories of Deana are her husband, Bruce Kefover of Weston; three daughters: Karen Peters and husband, Steve, Mandy Starcher and husband, Jason, and Tracy Kefover; three granddaughters: Audrey Starcher, and Emma and Alice Clary; one brother, Dale Gregory and wife, Charlaine; three nieces: Danelle Tinney and fiancé, Josh, Erica Packard and husband, Landon, and Casidy Gregory; one nephew, Nick Gregory; and one aunt, Judy Blevins.

Deana graduated in 1976 from Keystone High School in LaGrange, OH. While living in Ohio, Deana worked as a hairdresser. After moving to Weston, she was successfully employed with CVS Pharmacy for over ten years. Deana was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Weston. She enjoyed watching movies, doing movie trivia, and playing BINGO. You could always find her sitting on the back porch swing. Most of all, Deana loved family get-togethers and deeply cherished her time spent with family. Deana will be greatly missed by all who loved and cared for her.

Deana’s request for Cremation has been honored at Pat Boyle Funeral Home’s On-Site Crematory. A Private Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Broad Run Church Cemetery in Jane Lew.
