<p>Greenville, SC</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Evelyn Sewell Carson, 85, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her residence. She was a daughter of the late Bennie Wright, Sr. and the late Carrie Dirton Smith.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Carson was the wife of Willie Carson for 54 years.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her husband, she is survived by her seven children, Priscilla Sewell (Ronnie) Nelson of Greenville, SC, Teresa Sewell of Piedmont, SC, Sylvia Sewell (Kelvin) Barton of Fountain Inn, SC, Wil (Mursalata) Smith of Caledonia, MI, Sabrina Sewell (Min. Leon) Durham of Greenville, SC, Brian Bryant of Alcoa, TN, Rashad N. Carson (Breanna) of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Fannie Butler and Olivia (Glenn) McGee, both of Greenville, SC; three brothers, Barry (Josie) Wright, Willie Smith, Jr., and Larry Smith, all of Greenville, SC; her mother-in-law, Georgia A. Carson of Greenville, SC; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; an aunt, Callie Mae Dirton of Greenville, SC; a special nephew, Johnny (Jamie) Sewell of Taylors, SC; two special cousins, Lula Mae Thomas and Reginald C. Dirton, both of Greenville, SC; and a host of other close relatives and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral Services: Friday, March 24, 2023, 11:00am at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary with interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.</p><p><br></p><p>https://youtube.com/live/VAVF9KRdbnQ?feature=share</p><p><br></p>
