Peter B. Denno Obituary

Hague/Ticonderoga. Peter B. Denno, 63, of Ticonderoga and formerly of Hague, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, after a long battle with cancer, at his home in Ticonderoga.

Peter was born on November 28, 1959, the 10th of 15 children of Bernard and Anna (Robbins) Denno of Hague.

Peter grew up and attended school in Hague. He moved to Texas in the mid 70’s, where he lived for 30 years, where he started his family.

He worked mainly in heavy construction and concrete work. Peter moved back to New York in 2006 and worked many different jobs until the end.

Peter was willing to help his neighbors and family, whether it was mowing a lawn or fixing things in “Pete’s Garage”. He loved to hunt with his brothers, brothers-in-law, and friends. He also loved to fish, camp and enjoyed motorcycle rides with family.

His easy-going nature and engaging way endeared him to his family, friends, babies and animals, alike.

He is survived by his son, Levi (Crystal) Denno and grandson Deacon of Texas; his daughter, Brittany (Matt) Denno of Arkansas; his wife, Frances Denno of Ticonderoga; step-daughter Andrea (Garrett) Kelley and step-grandson Liam of Queensbury; three brothers, Bernard (Veronica) Denno, Ralph (Heather) Denno and Thomas (Michele) Denno, all of Hague; seven sisters, Pamela Denno of Florida, Debra Denno of Hague, Michele (Tim) Gautreau of Hague, Mary Ann (Ken) Osier of Chilson, Theresa (Joe) Gagliardi of Glens Falls, Bernadette (Mike) Fish of North Carolina and Maureen (Wade) Stevens of Vermont; and many many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Bernard and Anna (Robbins) Denno; two brothers, Robert and Joseph Denno; and two sisters, Barbara (Denno) Tyler and Marie (Denno) Murray.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, March 24, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Reception will follow the services at the E.M.A. of Ticonderoga.

In lieu of flowers, remember Pete by being kind, “shoot straight”, “cast long” and always help a friend along.
