Rita C. Jaso

<p>Rita C. Jaso, &nbsp;age 91, of McKeesport, died March 18, 2023, at Corner View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 18, 1931, in Penn Hills, she was the daughter of the late Matis and Anna (Tarby) Lepovsky and the wife of the late Julius Jaso.<br> Rita took great pride in caring for her home and family. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church. Rita was a Christian Mother and enjoyed helping with the Parish Festivals and attending church bingo. She was also a member of the Jednotah Slovak Lodge and used to participate in bus trips with her Senior Group. Rita was also an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan. Her family and grandchildren were truly the light of her life!<br> Rita is survived by her children, Catherine (Richard) Malsch of Gibsonia, Theresa (Donald) Melton of North Huntingdon, Marie (the late John) Benyak of Gibsonia, and Barbara (Steven) Small of Hopewell; grandchildren, Robert (Kara) Stokes, Christie (Michael) Cutrell, Michelle (Jamie) Kendrew, Sarah (Matthew) Wierzchowski, David Benyak, Daniel (Ashley) Small, and Michael (Molly) Small; great-grandchildren, Keaton, Kelsey, Brandon, Rebecca, Gwen, Brooklyn, Maylin, Lucas, and Makenna; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.<br> In addition to her husband and parents, Rita was also preceded in death by her siblings, Albert, George, Steve, Joe, Helen Palguta, Velma Grabowski, and Margaret Churilla.<br> Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home &amp; Crematory on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Mary, Mother of God Parish, Corpus Christi Church. Committal prayers and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery of Port Vue.<br> Memorial contributions are suggested to Bethany Hospice of Western Pennsylvania, Six Parkway Center, 875 Greentree Rd., Suite 100, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, 15220.<br> Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.<br> Chuck Danforth, Supervisor </p>

Ms. Rita was such a beautiful person it was a pleasure to serve her here at cornerview nursing home. She took great delight in Monday and Wednesday bingo arts and crafts and even joined our Christmas choir and enjoyed our Chruch services were she would sing and clap her ... Continue Reading
