<p>Betty Moore Bowen, age 95, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away, Saturday, March 18, 2023. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Mrs. Bowen was born June 13, 1927 in Bristol, Texas to Earl S. Moore Sr. and Francis Hamm Moore and was the oldest of her siblings, Earl, Eunice and Billy. </p><p>Betty graduated from Clarksville High School in 1944 and attended nursing school in Paris, Texas. She married the love of her life, Lloyd D. Bowen, in April 1946. &nbsp;They lived in many places during his Air Force career including Oslo, Norway, where their only child, Brenda, was born. </p><p>Betty is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eunice and husband, Lloyd. She is survived by her brothers, Earl Jr. and Billy; daughter, Brenda; son-in-law Chris; grandsons, Colin and Carter; and great-grandchildren, Dustin, Maggie, Mila and Harper. </p><p>Betty will be laid to rest at Lanes Chapel Cemetery next to her beloved Lloyd during a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martins-in-the-Pines in Birmingham, Alabama, where Betty has lived since February 2012. Many thanks to Judith Jones and all the caring staff at St. Martins-in-the-Pines as well as the exceptional staff from Compassus Hospice Care. &nbsp;We are forever indebted to you all. </p><p>Graveside services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p>

Betty Moore Bowen, age 95, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away, Saturday, March 18, 2023.            Mrs. Bowen was born June 13, 1927 in Bristol, Texas to Earl S. Moore Sr. and Francis Hamm Moore and was the oldest of her siblings, Earl, Eunice and Billy.
