<p>Elizabeth M Goguen, 89, passed away on 3/18/2023 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. She was the widow of Raymond L Goguen. They shared 36 years of marriage together.</p><p><br></p><p>Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Joseph W Martin and Mary Smith Martin (Eve).&nbsp;Mom was a world traveler in her early 20s and later enjoyed going on cruises with loved ones &amp; friends. She graduated from University of Maryland with an AS degree. She was employed at the US Military Government Agency and worked as a Computer Analyst.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>She was a member of Good Shepherd Church and was a member of the Bridge, Mah Jongg and Singles Group at Heron Creek. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, bingo, and dominoes. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to Bermuda. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh, &amp; always putting others' needs ahead of hers.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her children Deborah Goguen-Ellis/Mike and Judith Verno/Gary and Thomas L Goguen, her grandchildren Brandon, Heather, Joshua and Jennifer, sister Suzanne Fowlkes and her dog Douglas. She was preceded in death by husband Raymond Goguen &amp; brother Wesley Martin.</p><p><br></p><p>A reception will follow the funeral services from&nbsp;2:30-4:30pm. Location to be announced.</p><p><br></p>
