Larry E. Steele, Jr.

<p>Larry E. Steele Jr. of Delaware, Ohio passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital on Friday evening, March 17, 2023, where Larry took his last breath with his sister Pucky by his side.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born December 9, 1966 to Larry and Ival (Adams) Steele. He married the love of his life Patty Lee Lester on December 22, 1984.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents Lovell and Mary Steele, mother Ival Lee, wife Patty Lee and son Larry III.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a “true blue Michigan fan” till the day he passed. Larry loved watching football on the weekend with his sister. He also loved fishing with his grandson Austin and son Ricky. </p><p><br></p><p>Larry is survived by his father, Larry and Pamala Steele of Florida; sons, Gary and Ricky Steele of Columbus; daughter, Misty Steele-Smith of Columbus; sisters, Lavelle Hamilton of Delaware, Tammy (David) Bloemhaf and Kimmy Nelson of California; grandchildren, Abigale, Austin, Ricky Jr., Nolan, Tyler, Taylie and Travis; as well as very good friends, Don Scaggs and Dave Chaney.</p><p><br></p><p>Larry requested that no funeral service be arranged. His and Patty’s ashes will be spread together at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to thank the Nurses, Doctors, PSA’s and Hospice at Grady for the kind help they gave during Larry’s 11 days at the hospital.
