Roger D. Quarton, 66, of Findlay, IL, died at Hallmark Healthcare of Carlinville, IL on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 10:35 am.  He was born January 15, 1957, in Carlinville, IL to Donald Lee Quarton & Carolyn Rees Quarton.  Roger graduated from Lincoln Christian College with a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree.  He was a missionary and later a minister at Westervelt Christian Church.  He is survived by his children, Ryan D. Quarton (fiancée, Teela Spoor) of Litchfield, IL, Colin T. (Loni) Quarton of Parsons, KS, Eric B. (Shani) Quarton of Flora, IL, Caitlin J. (Olgert) Refatllari of Dixon, IL, 8 grandchildren, siblings, Caryn (Steve) Collins of Ft. Worth, TX, Ella May (Art) Roemer of Gillespie, IL, Barbara (Dale) Drennan of Monticello, IL, Donna (Randy) McLeese of Palmyra, IL, Dr. Brian (Lori) Quarton of Litchfield, IL, several nieces and nephews.  Roger was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends may call on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Funeral services are Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at First Christian Church, Gillespie.  Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, IL.  Memorials are suggested to Westervelt Christian Church.  Anyone wishing to send an online condolence may do so at www.kravanyafuneral.com.  Kravanya Funeral Home, Gillespie, IL  is in charge of the arrangements.
