<p>Sandra F. Swenticky:</p><p><br></p><p>Sandra F. Swenticky 80, passed away on 3/18/23 after an extended battle of esophageal cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Orange, NJ she was raised in Patterson, NJ and resided initially in Jackson, NJ then moving to Freehold, NJ. While raising her children she received her degrees from Ocean County College and became a Registered Nurse. Prior to her Nursing career she worked at EI Dupont & Dun & Bradstreet. She was a Charge Nurse on the med/surg floor 5 West for 20 years at Paul Kimball Hospital Lakewood, NJ retiring from there in 2003. She was a kind and caring nurse for many patients through the years . She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, who called her Mom- Mom, and considered them her most treasured gifts. Her granddaughters continued Sandra’s legacy by pursuing medical careers. She was loved and adored by her 9 grandchildren. For decades she and her husband Fred enjoyed an endless number of their grandchildren’s baptisms, birthdays, dance recitals, plays, scouts, sporting events, graduations from nursery school through college. She & her husband Fred loved vacationing at their second home in Florida.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, South River, NJ. They raised a beautiful family of 3 grateful, loving & accomplished children. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary & Walter Wooster, brothers Gary & Bob Wooster. She is survived by her loving husband Fred of 61 years, children Fred Swenticky ( Karina), of Howell, NJ, Donna Swenticky of Toms River, NJ and Susanne Portaleos (Nick), Freehold, NJ. Nine cherished grandchildren Anastassia, Bryan, Larisa, Alexis, Nicholas, Cassandra, Nicholas Jr, Paul & Heather and many extended friends, family, and her beloved cat Muffin.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be from 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM at Maliszewski Funeral Home, 218 Whitehead Ave, South River, NJ. A funeral liturgy will be held 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by interment at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery in South River, NJ.</p><p><br></p><p>In Lieu of flowers please donate in Sandra’s name to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Please Click here to Donate</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>October 25, 1942 - March 18, 202310/25/194203/18/2023
