Jesse A. DeCoux

Jesse DeCoux, age 52, of Faribault died on Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the Elks Club, Faribault from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Jesse, the son of Christine Henry and Gary DeCoux was born on May 27, 1970, in Rochester. He was formerly employed by Faribault Woolen Mill Company. He loved his dogs and muscle cars and enjoyed the Minnesota Vikings.

Jesse grew up in Faribault and was proud to call it his home. He had a passion for life and living it to the fullest. Jesse could leave a whole room laughing with his charm and sense of humor. He was straight forward and genuine, you could always take him at his word. He was hard working and would help anyone that needed it. He was devoted to his family and loved to take his boys camping, fly fishing and sitting around the campfire at the end of the day. He was a mentor, father and friend. His life was taken too soon, and he will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Cole (and Madison) DeCoux of Northfield, Ryan DeCoux of Mankato and Jacob DeCoux of Mankato; two granddaughters Avery and Emma DeCoux; his mother, Christine Henry of Faribault; his father, Gary DeCoux of Owatonna; his siblings, Jason (and Stacy Berg) DeCoux, Sabrina (Will) Lyke and Stefanie (and Matt) Thomas all of Faribault; mother of his children, Loralea Baldwin of Mankato; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gary A. Henry; grandparents, Helen & Frank DeCoux and Doris & Carl Peterson.
