Jane C. Goetz, 75, of Sparta, died Friday, March 17, 2023 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. She was born on January 24, 1948 to Chris and Jewel (Elder) Sanders, in Sparta. She grew up in Sparta.

Jane was married to Charles McGuire, John Price Sr., and James L. Goetz Sr.

She enjoyed crochet and embroidering, cooking and baking, playing cards, going to church, and spending time with family and friends.

Jane is survived by her children, James (Tonya) Rodger of Sun Prairie, Sally (John) McGuire of Sparta, James I. (Becki) Goetz Jr. of Sparta; daughter-in-law, Katie Price of Sparta; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren; sisters, Joan (Clint) Knott of Tomah, Wanda Smith of Sparta, and Sandy Zebell of Grand Junction, CO; brother, James (Renee) Sanders of Sparta; sister-in-law, Linda Goetz of Milwaukee; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Jewel Sanders; husbands, John Price and James Goetz; son John Price Jr; grandson, Evan Price; brother-in-law, Gerry Goetz.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with Reverend Randy Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Farmers Valley Cemetery, Sparta.
