<p>Anthony Dale Smith, age 65 of Winchester, went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 27, 1958, to the late James O. Smith and Dorothy Myers Smith of Coalmont. Anthony was known early on as the Colonial Bread Man and later become known for his sign business, Action Graphics. He served the Lord as an Assistant Pastor and was a member of Valley Home Methodist Church. Anthony loved traveling and working with his community to help people with their sign and advertising needs. His love for Jesus Christ shone through him in all he did. He was known by many different titles, but his favorite was “Pa.” Anthony loved his granddaughters and spoiled them greatly. He used his battle with cancer to share the testimony of the Grace and Mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Smith Shrum. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years, Jocelyn Dyer Smith; children, Chris (Chasity) Smith of Winchester, and Cody (Cayla) Smith of Fayetteville; granddaughters, Lexie and Lacie Smith of Winchester, and Blakely and Breken Smith of Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, March 20, 2023at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Smith and Bro. Joe Hunt officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens with Derrick Everett, Ernie Roles, Jake Dyer, Jeff Hobbs, Jimmy Jernigan, and Rick Summers serving as pallbearers.
