Sheridan Joan Mixon Dougan, 81, of Camilla died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Albany.

Born February 2, 1942 in Moultrie, GA, Mrs. Dougan was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Burnette Harrell; her father, Julian Mixon; and her brother, Wayne Mixon.

Survivors include her husband, Patrick L. Dougan of Camilla; daughter, Lisa Pierce Smith (Jack) of Conyers; son, Matthew Pierce (Jolene) of Atlanta; siblings, Michael Mixon (Jan), Nancy Harrell, Leslie Roundy (Kelley), Mary Rogers (Steve), and Priscilla Harrell; sister-in-law, Dale Mixon; three grandchildren, Jessie, Laila, and Laura Pierce; four great grandchildren, Bradley, Elliott, Oliver, and Oakley Pierce.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
