<p>Mary Davis Gibbs, 80, entered into rest on Saturday, March 18, 2023.<br> <br> Mary was born December 12, 1942, in Winter Haven, Florida. She was a country girl who loved country music, animals, fishing, swimming, boating, camping, drawing, baking, and had a great sense of fashion and was good at everything she did. She was a caring person who would take care of and help everyone who needed it. She was as tough as they get, mentally and physically. She kept to herself but loved everyone.<br> <br> She is preceded in death by her late husband, James Gibbs Sr.; a loving partner of 30 years, Michael Arrowood; and a son, James Gibbs Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Trudy Gibbs Kennedy; son, Larry Gibbs; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren (one of which, a great-grandson August, who was recently born on her birthday); and a great-great-granddaughter. She loved and was loved very deeply by her family. She was thankful in the end for having her daughter Trudy and grandson Randy by her side. She will be greatly missed and loved.<br> <br> Pallbearers will be Scotty Gibbs, Timothy Thompson, Jason Gibbs, Randy Horne Jr, Dylan Gibbs, and Randy Horne Sr. </p><p>Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in the chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907, with Pastor Taten Wagner officiating, and interment immediately following at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813. The family will receive friends at Thomas L. King Funeral Home one hour prior to service time. </p>
