Ruthie Mae Harper, age 60, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. Visitation will held on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS and Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Mt. Moriah M.B. Church in Pulaski, MS. Services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah M.B. Cemetery in Pulaski, MS. Rev. Ralph James will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Ruthie was born to Clevon Harper and Clementine Davis Harper on January 7, 1963, in MS. She was a lifelong resident of the Morton, MS Area. Her favorite hobby was cooking and baking. She also loved gardening and crafting. Although she had no children of her own, she took a part in raising many. Ruthie was a two-time breast cancer survivor.

Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, Clevon and Clementine Harper; sister, Earnestine Terry; brother, Cleveland Harper, Jr. She is survived by three sisters, Johnnie Earby (Wyatt) of Morton, MS; Cathan Riley of Morton, MS and Charlene Mims of Aberdeen, MS and brother, Ray Charles Harper of Hillsboro, MS; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and multitude of friends.
