Edna C. Hubbell

<p>Edna C. Hubbell of Tampa, Florida born on June 11, 1920,&nbsp;passed away on November 16, 2022. Beloved wife of the late George T. Hubbell, she was the loving mother and matriarch of four&nbsp;children, Phyllis Mann of Dunedin, FL; Mary Duvall of Rockville, MD; Paul Hubbell of Vienna, VA; and Peter Hubbell of Odessa, FL; their spouses; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. As a kindergarten teacher, she was also loved by the more than three decades of children she taught. Born to Edna and Frank Clark and raised in New York City, she graduated from the Mills School for Kindergarten and Primary Teachers. After marriage to George, they lived in New Jersey and Maryland before retiring, moving to Arizona and later to Florida. Edna loved the western US and also traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe and the Mideast, making lasting friendships wherever she went. A memorial service will&nbsp;be held on May 13, 2023 from 2pm to 4pm at the Barber Funeral Home in Laytonsville, MD followed by interment in the St. Paul's Methodist Church Cemetery in Laytonsville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests your support of the Chapters Health Foundation - In Support of LifePath Hospice at&nbsp;http://lifepathhospice.chaptershealth.org/&nbsp;General Donation.&nbsp; </p>
