<p>Lydia Marie Jones, “Red” was born on June 29th 1954 to Vernell Ross and Barnett Walton in Cleveland, Ohio. Lydia was the third of six children. Lydia attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from John Adams High School. Lydia relocated to Akron, Ohio with her children in 1993. Lydia was a Member of The Church of Deliverance, and resided In Akron, Ohio for 17yrs. In 2010, Lydia returned back to her original stomping grounds in Cleveland. Mom always said there was no place like home. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband Albert Jackson Jr. “Chino”. Lydia traveled and enjoyed her life to the fullest. Those who knew her know she was a lover of music and a scholar in Hand Dancing. Lydia enjoyed the simple things in life cooking, sewing, word searches, shopping and her plants. Her greatest love was her daughters and grand boys as she would call them and her beloved “Clifford”. Lydia had an infectious heart of servitude. She loved without limits, she enjoyed serving, feeding and caring for others and loved sewing and pressing clothes. Lydia was the life of every party and had quite the sense of humor. Lydia was a mother to many and would give you words of encouragement that would leave you in tears and would also make your mouth drop. Throughout her journey she always acknowledged the Lord. Lydia enjoyed laying across her bed reading her bible or listening to her gospel music. Lydia Marie Jones entered into eternal rest on March 19th 2016. Lydia leaves to Cherish her memory, her daughters Sunshine Jones, Tamar (Deshon King); Her grandchildren, Maundrio Roper Jr. “Poohder” Travon Walker “Poopie” Devon Tuck “daddy” &amp; MaCaleb Jones “Doodie Butt”; God daughters Qiana (Phillip Smith ) Of Atlanta, GA, Janay Smith, LaToya Shinholster Akron, OH, Katika Thomas of Atlanta, Ga, Ebony (Kenyattie) Washington; Siblings: Sisters Linda Johnson, Rena’ McFarland, Marilyn Ross, Robbin Whatley and soul sister Crystal Varner and brother Doran Walton; Best Friend Tamara Jones along with a host of other relatives and friends.</p>
