Mary Elizabeth Ebling

<p>Mary Elizabeth Ebling, age 88, of Pottsville, PA passed away Friday, March 17th, 2023 at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital-Orwigsburg Campus.&nbsp; </p><p>Born in Wayne Township, PA on August 6, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John and Philippine (Krasko) Konkus. </p><p>Mary was a graduate of Cressona High School, Class of 1953. She worked as a salesclerk for Pomeroy's Department Store, as a presser for the ARGO Corp., as an examiner for Cressona Knitting Mill, and then was self-employed along with her husband Harold and opened the H &amp; M Ebling Glass business in Cressona. </p><p>Mary was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven and loved gardening, flowers, raising her family and taking care of her home. </p><p>In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold Clarence Ebling on January 14, 2022, a grandson Nicholas Ebling, a brother Richard Konkus, and a sister Jenny Neifert. </p><p>Mary is survived by a daughter Mary Landry, Texas; four sons: Harold Ebling and his wife Lisa, Mt. Carbon, Zachary Ebling, Pottsville, Matthew Ebling and his wife Tracey, Wernersville, and Keith Ebling and his wife Kristin, Schuylkill Haven; five grandsons: Christopher, Harold, Russie, Nathan, and Lucas; a step-granddaughter Bobbie Lynn; sixteen great-grandchildren; a brother John Konkus, Pottsville; a sister Eleanor Fake, Lancaster; and nieces and nephews. </p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. at 10:30AM on Tuesday, March 21st, &nbsp;with Msgr. Edward Zemanik officiating.&nbsp; </p><p>Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday morning from 9-10:30AM at St. Ambrose Church.&nbsp; </p><p>Interment will be held in the Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville. </p><p>In lieu of flowers, you can make donations in memory of Mary to the Hillside SPCA, P.O.
