<p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon S. (Oberle) Ross, 80, of Shelbyville, IN on Thursday, March 16th, 2023.&nbsp; Sharon passed peacefully and comfortably, surrendering to pneumonia, COPD, and lung cancer at Franciscan Health in Greenwood, IN. </p><p>Sharon was born Sharon Sue Oberle on 10/26/1942 in Indianapolis, IN to Virginia and Eugene Oberle. Sharon graduated from Warren Central High School, then studied at Ball State University.&nbsp; She briefly wed Buddy Magee and was blessed with Mike and Tammy, then divorced.&nbsp; While raising two infants and working at RCA in downtown Indianapolis, Sharon met her soul mate and the love of her life, Jim Ross.&nbsp; They wed on June 5th, 1971. </p><p>In 1980, the family moved to Shelbyville, Indiana where they owned Mark Concrete Products.&nbsp; Sharon worked in the front office, doing all the scheduling and financials.&nbsp; In the 1980’s, Sharon managed her own business, The Booketeria, owing to her passion for reading. </p><p>Sharon was involved in several groups and organizations, including Zonta, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Order of Turtles. </p><p>Sharon is survived by her husband of 52 yrs. Jim, daughter, Tammy, and sons, Mike and Jamie, in addition to 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Virginia Oberle, and brother, Jon Oberle. </p><p>A Celebration of Life will be held on April 15th, 2023 at 11:00 am at the American Legion Post 70 in Shelbyville, Indiana.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made in Sharon’s name to the Jacoby Foundation. </p><p>Funeral Directors Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, Stuart Parks, and Darin Schutt are honored to serve Sharon’s family. </p><p>Online condolences may be shared at www.murphyparks.com </p>
