Bettie Lois Bickle, 91, passed away March 17, 2023, in Granbury, Texas. Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 2pm at Tolar Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Thorp Spring Cemetery.

Bettie was born January 21, 1932 in Stamford, Texas to Doyle Mercer and Izella Woodson. Bettie was an accomplished seamstress and also loved to crochet. She made many blankets and quilts for many friends at church. She also loved to cook and spend time with her family. Bettie and her husband, Raymond, traveled to many foreign countries over the years, which she enjoyed very much.

Bettie is preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Bickle; her parents: Doyle and Izella Mercer, her daughter: Barbara Gossage; brothers: Bill Mercer and Bobby Mercer; sister: Donzella Mercer Cheek

Bettie is survived by son in law: Jay Gossage; grandchildren: Tony Gossage, Raymond Gossage, and Alisa Gossage; 5 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
