Ronald L. Spears Sr., 76 years old of Elmwood Place, Ohio passed suddenly March 15th 2023.

Ronald was born September 17th, 1946, to Emmitt and Nannie Faye Spears of Cincinnati, Ohio. Lifelong residents of Elmwood Place.

Ronald was proceeded in death by his wife Crystal Kaye Spears (Hatter) of 49 years; sister Joann Spears; parents Emmitt & Faye Spears. 

 He is survived by his children, Ron Spears Jr. (Carolyn) of Cincinnati Ohio. Paula Thompson (Nicolas) of Cincinnati, Ohio. 

10 Grandchildren: John Beatty; Terry (Debbie) Spears; Matthew (Samantha) Spears; Tyler & Samantha Hoelmer; Nicholas Hoelmer; Tabitha Lawson; Sarah Theis; Maggie Peddicore; Andrew Thompson.

6 Great-grandchildren: Chase Spears; Carson Spears; Emmitt Hoelmer; Daniel Raider; Devon Raider; Donovan Raider. 

Brothers: Don Spears (Joan); Jerry Spears (Micki); and sister Dianna Laurence (Steve); several nieces and nephews along with an army of kids that referred to him as Gpa.

Layout will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati Ohio 45216; Thursday, March 23nd from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. 

A second Layout will be held at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, 545 KY Hwy 328 West, Waynesburg, Kentucky 40489; Saturday, March 25th from 12:00 - 2:00pm.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th at Barnett, Demrow and Friend Funeral Home.
