<p>David Brian Ellis aka “Saddle” was born July 8, 1966 to Arthur McKenzie(deceased)</p><p>&amp; Cheryl Headley in the United States of America. He spent his youthful years in the</p><p>beautiful twin island of Trinidad and Tobago.</p><p>He grew up in the care of his grandmother Pearl Mitchell (deceased), with his Uncle</p><p>Keith Jackman(deceased) &amp; cousin Karen Headley in Barataria, Trinidad &amp; Tobago.</p><p>As a child he was very energetic, had a mind of his own, and loved to dance.</p><p>David attended All Saints Anglican Primary School, and Saint James Secondary</p><p>School in Port of Spain Trinidad.</p><p>In 1984 he returned back to the United States and resided with his aunt Angela</p><p>Headley (deceased) for a number of years. David had an enormous heart, and was</p><p>the go to person for his friends that migrated to the US from Trinidad, he opened</p><p>his heart and his doors and housed them all into his one room space. David loved to</p><p>ride bike and would bike everywhere, he even obtained employment as a bike</p><p>courier where he was given the name “Saddle”.</p><p>David and Allison Joseph-Ellis fathered his beautiful daughter Summer Ellis on</p><p>August 6, 1997, whom he cherished and loved dearly. His fatherly love for her</p><p>created a bond so strong, it exceeded time and space. If you knew David, you</p><p>definitely knew or heard about Summer who he fondly called Sum Sum, she was</p><p>David’s entire world and he was hers as well. He not only was a great &amp; supportive</p><p>father to her, his love, care, guidance and support was extended to Summer’s</p><p>siblings Chadette and Caleb as well.</p><p>David had a talent for entertaining and spreading laughter amongst his friends. He</p><p>truly was one-of-a kind, special and loving beyond measure. He was well loved by</p><p>each and every person that he had the pleasure of building a relationship with, and</p><p>it was shown by his countless friend’s circle.</p><p>David leave’s to cherish his memory, his mother Cheryl Headley Cape, his father Roy</p><p>Cape, his daughter Summer Ellis, his sisters JoAnn Cape-Julien, Kathy Marcelle,</p><p>Juliana Landeau, his brother Roy Cape Jr. and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins,</p><p>Relatives and friends, too many to name</p>
