<p>Rhoda Corrine Pappajohn passed away March 16th 2023</p><p><br></p><p>Pre-deceased by parents Harry J. Pappajohn and Mabel S. Pappajohn.</p><p><br></p><p>Attended Ashford Grade School, Columbia Crest Grade School, Eatonville High School, Pacific Lutheran University earning a B.A. in Education, University of Washington MLS and Administrative Credentials from University of Puget Sound.</p><p><br></p><p>Leaves behind husband Ken Miller, 2 children Jon Miller (Christy) and Marc Miller (Trish), 3 grandchildren, Madison, Abigail, and Maggie Miller.</p><p><br></p><p>Teacher in many districts in grade school and retired from Eatonville Middle School as a Teacher-Librarian. Worked as a Mt. Rainier park guide in the 1960s. Worked in her parents’ restaurant, Pappajohn’s on the way to Mt. Rainier National Park in the 1950s and 1960s.</p><p><br></p><p>She loved to travel, covered the seven continents, all over the USA including Alaska, and Canada. Did lots of hiking and backpacking, some mt. climbing, 62 years of downhill skiing and x-c skiing, fishing, and played the piano all her life.</p><p><br></p><p>She was an Ohop Grange Member for 60 years and Rainbow for Girls as a young woman.</p><p><br></p><p>Thank you to my son and wife and husband for their care and to hospice.</p><p><br></p><p>Burial at Eatonville Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial will be held at Eatonville Baptist Church on April 29, 2023 at 2pm. In memory of Rhoda, please consider donating to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.</p><p><br></p>
