<p>Marolyn Marie Smith, 67 of Mount Clare passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at United Hospital Center with family by her side. She was born on May 16, 1955 in Athens, OH, daughter of the late Ernest and Agnus Perry Jackson. </p><p>Marolyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, collecting hummingbirds, traveling and vacationing the country. She loved spending time with her family. </p><p>Marolyn is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Roger Daniel Smith whom she married on March 9, 1979; two children, Brian Lee Smith and wife Kari, Jennifer Lynn Hardy and husband James all of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Anthony Hardy, Logan Hardy, Ashlyn Smith, Ryan Hardy, Ethan Smith, and Chloe Smith; one sister, Lucille Kay Nicholas and husband Charles, Marietta, OH; several nieces and nephews. </p><p>In addition to her parents Marolyn was preceded in death by her siblings, Virgil “Pee Wee” Jackson, John J Jackson, Carolyn Sue Evener, Leroy “Sammy” Jackson, and Cheryl Lynn Jackson. </p><p>Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg WV on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 PM.
