<p>Kenneth Eugene George </p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Kenneth Eugene George, 79, of Chillicothe, passed away on March 17, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 6, 1943, in Greenfield, the son of the late Kenneth Alfred and Eula Clay (Garrison) George. On May 6, 1961, he united in marriage with his loving wife of 61 years, Carol Kathleen (Phillips) George, who survives. </p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Kenneth is also survived by his son, James K. (Brenda) George, of Chillicothe; daughter, Brenda George-Caplinger, of Kingston; grandchildren, Justin Caplinger, Jameson (Vanessa) George, Jacob (Jackie) George, and Lindsay Caplinger (Jason Hall); great-grandchildren, Nic, Charlotte, Remi, Michell, Tifany, and Sohany; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Kenneth was a 1961 graduate of McClain High School, Greenfield. He retired from Mead Paper Corporation in 2002 as a pipe fitter after 41 years of service. As a sports enthusiast, he was an avid Ohio State University and Bengals fan and coached girls high school and junior high basketball at Southeastern and Unioto Local Schools, respectively. </p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; Private graveside services will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.     Kenneth Eugene George, 79, of Chillicothe, passed away on March 17, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 6, 1943, in Greenfield, the son of the late Kenneth Alfred and Eula Clay (Garrison) George.
