Obituary

It is with cherished love and heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of a devoted husband, dad, grandad and great grandad, Thomas Ardin “Tom” Paul.

Tom was born on March 5, 1936, in Viking, Alberta, and passed away with family by his side on February 14, 2022, in Trail, BC.

Tom is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margaret, his daughters Carmen (Ed) and Deanna (Hugh), his son Keith, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his eldest son Ardin (Bee/Elizabeth).

Tom lived in Salmo for the past 60 years where he raised his family, worked and was involved in the community. Never one to shy away from difficult tasks, he always studied and fully understood whatever he was working on. From being a volunteer fireman, working in retail building supplies, running his own business to being a member of the Masonic Lodge, Tom took the time to learn every aspect he could so he could share the knowledge with everyone.

He will always be remembered as a wonderful husband, dad, grandad and great grandad who took the time to teach, to love, to laugh and to live.

We will miss him and love him, and he will always remain in our hearts.

A service in dad’s memory will be announced at a later date.

You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence.
