Douglas Wilder; age 86 of Orion Twp., passed away peacefully on March 17, 2023 surrounded by his family who loved him very much.  Beloved husband of Shirley for 62 years; Loving father of Teresa (Michael) Pillion, and Kathy Wilder; Grandfather of Amanda (Chris) Oszust; Great-Grandfather Aiden Oszust; Brother of Loretta (Gary) Dorton, Alma Jean (the late Bernard) McCreary, Nelson (the late Lois) Wilder, Claiborne (Freida) Wilder, Conley (Carol) Wilder, Wendell (the late Imojean) Wilder, the late Larry Wilder, the late Keith (the late Lois) Wilder, and the late Rick Wilder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Douglas was a machine operator for 31 years at Pontiac Motors. Douglas was also an Air Force veteran, who served his country for four years. 

He loved fishing, and spending time with his family especially his special Son-In-Law Michael. He also loved visits with his furry little friend Daisy, who loved curling up next to him in his favorite chair.
