Angie Collins, age 37, of Dalton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 17, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Angie loved her family and friends deeply. She was a creative, artistic person who enjoyed crafting with the kids and planting a garden. She worked as a teacher at Kingdom Kids, and a nurse at Hamilton Healthcare System. She was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church. She loved watching old television shows and her favorite place in the world was the beach.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernice Holder-Davies, John Holder, Sr., Robert Davies and Virginia Scott.

Survivors include her loving husband, Chris Collins; daughter, Ava Collins; son, Samuel Collins; parents, Connie and Lamar Scott; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and Randall Ogles; brothers, Tony Scott and Allen Scott; grandfather, Ulyss Scott; uncle, Doug Scott; brother-in-law, Hunter Ogles; sister-in-law, Brenna Ogles; best friends, Angelique Tatum and Beth Allen.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Grove Level Baptist Church with Dr. Charlie Bridges and Rev. Jim Bennett officiating.

The family will receive friends at Grove Level Baptist Church on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m.
