WESTFIELD– Dayna Lynnette Taylor. 28, left this earthly life, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Wake Forest Baptist Atrium Health.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Interment will follow in Samaria Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel.

Dayna was born on August 6, 1994, in Forsyth County, to Darryl Taylor and Sherry Lynn Taylor East. She was an employee of Front Porch Creamery. She was passionate about her family and community and touched many lives. Dayna loved the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Papa Travis Mabe and Del Ray Taylor.

Survivors include her father, Darryl Taylor (Tracy); mother: Sherry East (John); brother who loved her very much, Matthew Taylor; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Johnson (Helen) and paternal grandmother, Betty Mabe; and uncles, Danny Taylor and Tony Johnson (Kay).

Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
