Carl Edward “Pete” Talley, 77, of Madison, NC went to be with the Lord Thursday March 16, 2023 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday March 21, 2023 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.

A native of Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Ulysses Lee and Ennis Scott Talley and had lived in Rockingham County his entire life. He was a retired employee of Equity Meats in Reidsville and was formerly in the US Army Reserves. Pete enjoyed fishing, boating, the beach, and trips to White Lake. He enjoyed his TV Shows and driving his truck and Jeep. He was preceded in death by his brother: David Talley and his sister: Becky Paschal.

Survivors include his daughters: Jodie T. Dalton (Chris) and Jessica Gardner (Duran) both of Madison, brother: Jerry Talley of Reidsville, the mother of his children: Amanda Joyce Talley of Stoneville, grandchildren: Jasmyn Dalton, Damien Clark, Skylar Clark, Chloe Dalton and Bryson Clark, step-grandchildren: Sammy Matto and Kristin Martin.

The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Monday March 20, 2023 at Citty Funeral Home and at other time will be at Jodie’s Home 1028 Dan Valley Rd.  Madison, NC
