<p>Mary Juanita Sloan Tabor, 75 of Hollins Dr, Salisbury, NC, departed this earthly life on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Novant Health-Rowan Medical Center, Salisbury, NC.&nbsp; She was born June 2, 1947, to the late Floyd Sloan Sr. and the late Geraldine Hawkins Sloan in Rowan County. </p><p>Mary was educated in the Rowan County School System and a graduate of Price High School, class of 1965, she was a member of Mt. Calvary Holy Church, where she served on the Missionary Board, Benevolence Committee, and a member of the Choir. </p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Tabor; two brothers Floyd Sloan Jr. and Dennis Sloan. </p><p>Services will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Caldwell St., Salisbury, NC.&nbsp; Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM; with funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at the Salisbury Historic National Cemetery. </p><p>Those left to cherish her memories include a son Timothy Tabor of Jonesboro, GA; three grandchildren Tyree M. Tabor Sr., Tiara Tabor, Tyler Edward Tabor; two great grandchildren Tyree M. Tabor Jr and TyAsia K. Tabor; one sister Pauline Joanne Huntley; one brother Darrell Sloan; a brother in-law Dr. Willie J. Tabor of Charlotte, NC and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. </p><p>Due to Covid-19 Mask are appreciated if worn to all services. </p>
