Joe Charlie Leyendecker, age 63, of Richmond, went home to be with His Lord and Savior on Friday, March 17, 2023.

He leaves behind a wife, Deborah Leyendecker; two sons, Matthew Speck and Jerod (Julie) Speck; three grandchildren, Landen Speck, Kaitlyn Clark, and Shaylee Clark all of Richmond; two brothers, Joel (Cheryl) Leyendecker, and Leonard (Jessica) Leyendecker both of Austin, Texas. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was born in Houston, Texas to the late Charlie B. and Carolina Leyendecker. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two siblings, Leo Leyendecker, and Alice Ledesma.

He was an employee of Lockheed Martin at Lexington Bluegrass Station and a devoted member of Red House Baptist Church.

He will be greatly missed by all. His wishes were to be cremated with a memorial service at a later date. In Joe’s memory, donations may be made to Hospice Care Plus, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475.
