Cola Lurline Sutphin Weaver, 78, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 in FirstHealth Hospice Center, West End, NC.

Cola was born in Stephenson, West Virginia on May 15, 1944, daughter to the late Furman Sutphin and Anna Ruth Churchwell Sutphin. She worked as a Certified Surgical Tech and was also a homemaker, raising and caring for her family. Cola was very funny, loved with all her heart, laughed, smiled, took care of people and loved her children. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Alexander Weaver.

Cola is survived by her children, Warren Boyette and Dwayne Weaver, both of Jasper, GA; a daughter, Sandra Rosario and husband Carmelo of Raeford, NC; a sister, Lisa Chase of Locust Grove, GA; 3 grandchildren, Alexandria Weaver, Thomas Rosario, McKenzie Andrews and a host of extended family members.
