Richard Vincent Speirs of Monticello, a former resident of Wurtsboro, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the Nyack Hospital. He was 51.

The son of the late Richard Speirs and Mary Meyers Speirs, he was born August 27, 1971 in Slate Hill.

He is survived by a son: Steven Babcock of Monticello; a daughter: Samantha Speirs of White Lake; and two grandsons: Joshua and Aspen. He was predeceased by his wife Coleen.

Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, March 20 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello.
