Marion S. Berkheiser

<p> Marion S. (Mona) Berkheiser, 96, of Berwick, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, March 15, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her family.</p><p><br></p><p> Born April 17, 1926 in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and Eleanor Sweitzer Piatt. </p><p><br></p><p> She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry with whom she was married for fifty-three years; a son, Harry Jr.; a great granddaughter, Juliet Brick; as well as her nine siblings.</p><p><br></p><p> Surviving is her daughter, Candice Fiorey (Randall), of Berwick; a son, James Berkheiser (Suzanne) of Vernon, NJ; four grandchildren, Beth Brick (Justin) of Winter Garden, FL; Nicholas Fiorey (Victoria), of Berwick; Kelly Corso (Frank), of Bronxville, NY; and Timothy Berkheiser, of Newton, NJ.</p><p><br></p><p> Private arrangements are in the care of Dinelli Family Funeral Home, 170 East Broad Street, Nanticoke.</p><p><br></p><p> Interment will be in Sorber Cemetery, Reyburn.</p><p><br></p>
