Vance K. Spencer

Vance K. “Butch” Spencer, 85, of Ambridge, died Saturday March 18, 2023, Concordia at Villa St Joseph. Born September 2, 1937, Sewickley, he was the son of the late Howard and Gertrude Cumbridge Spencer. He was retired from Wyckoff Steel and Giant Eagle, Leetsdale and a member of St Luke the Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Hudacsek Spencer, four sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kim Spencer, Ambridge, Dan and Tammy Spencer, Sarver, Kenny and Michelle Spencer, Georgia, Larry Spencer and Daria Swartzlander, Freedom, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Ray Spencer, three brothers, Willard, Norman and Clinton Spencer and one sister, Ethel Bobin. Friends will be received Tuesday March 21, 2023 from 9:00am-11:00am, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery.
