<p>Webster- Joan A. (Dykas) Szynal age 83 passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at the University of MA Medical Center, Worcester.&nbsp; She was the wife of Thomas M. Szynal who passed away January 6, 2023.&nbsp; </p><p>Joan is survived by two daughters, Susan Szynal of Webster and Maria Santerre and her husband Mark of North Grosvenordale, CT.&nbsp; She was predeceased by a daughter Paula Szynal of Belchertown and a son Thomas Szynal.&nbsp; Joan also leaves granddaughters Amanda and Lauren Santerre, she also leaves many relatives and friends.&nbsp; </p><p>She was born in Webster daughter of the late John Dykas and Helen (Kubza) Dykas and lived here all her life.&nbsp; Joan was very active in the Webster School System and chaired Friends of Bartlett for many years.&nbsp; If you needed a volunteer, Joan was the person to call.&nbsp; She also enjoyed coaching with the Webster Lassie League. </p><p>&nbsp;Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster.&nbsp; A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or light a candle. Webster- Joan A. (Dykas) Szynal age 83 passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 at the University of MA Medical Center, Worcester.  She was the wife of Thomas M. Szynal who passed away January 6, 2023. 

Joan is survived by two daughters, Susan Szynal of Webster and Maria Santerre and her husband Mark of North Grosvenordale, CT.  She was predeceased by a daughter Paula Szynal of Belchertown and a son Thomas Szynal.  Joan also leaves granddaughters Amanda and Lauren Santerre, she also leaves many relatives and friends.
